Subject: Video Cards Date: Sun, 24 Jun 2001 06:52:13 -0500 From: Sam McJunkin To: build-faq@buildorbuy.net Greetings, I am seeking some general discussion about video cards. I recently upgraded my Video Card to an ATI All-In-Wonder 128 Pro AGP. Works great, and I am enjoying watching TV on my PC. When I build a new PC, would I be better off to start with a simple video card, and add a PCI card to watch TV or should I try to conserve PCI slots at the time of the build? If I add a PCI slot video card, will that automatically enable me to add another monitor? Could I perhaps have 3 video cards? The AGP, PCI for TV, and PCI for gaming? Thank you. Sam McJunkin, P.E.
